Paris Travel Essentials

IMG_2761

I’m off to Paris today for a short break, and these are my travel essentials in terms of make-up and fashion. I wanted to keep it minimal and not have to lug around a massive make-up bag (that can be another post, haha!) and my outfit post will be up later in the week. Clothes wise, my outfit will be a monochrome colour scheme so that’s why my travel accessories are to match.

Bag – & Other Stories // Paris Street Style Book // MUA- Heaven and Earth Palette // Black Fedora- Topman // Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation // Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara // Collection Fast Stroke Brown Eyeliner // Eyeko London Mascara Off Make-up Wipes // Illamasqua Under Eye Concealer // Purse – Next // Passport

For make-up I went for minimal and versatile products. The eyeshadow palette is perfect to create a natural brown smokey eye which I like to have daily, then a perfect light brown shade for my eyebrows. The packaging is also lightweight especially in comparasion to the Naked Palette it will mean easy to travel with.

Foundation I went for a light base because with travelling a lot and rushing around Paris  I didn’t want something that would be heavy and just make my skin feel uncomfortable. Then the Illamasqua concealer provides enough coverage and is very blendable due to the creamy consostency. Plus the travel size and mirror is perfect.  Eyeliner and Mascara are just my go to products at the minute, so they are just essentials in completing my look.

Unintentional at first, but now I’m going to say it was planned perfectly, the croc pattern from my bag and purse compliment each other to high heavens. I always find bucket bags perfect for putting loads in without it being awkward to carry. I also know my camera and personal belongings will be safe with the tie fastening.

An obviously essential read- The Paris Street Style Book, I mean I may need to brush up on my knowledge before I’m there!

Hope you enjoyed this post, are you going anywhere soon? What would be your travel essentials?

So for now I will leave and love you, in the mean time follow my Bloglovin, and take a look at my Instagram and Twitter while you’re at it.

Au revoir!
